After your registration in our Rausch Driving Schools you will have to apply to the driver's license agency for your driver's license. The driver's license agency or district administration of your main residence will be in charge.

The application process of your license will last about 4 weeks. You will have the permission to take the driving test afterwards. While your permission is being processed you can already take driving lessons and attend our theory classes. The application for your driver's license is valid for one year.

The following documents must be personally submitted by the applicant for the license office:

• Confirmation of the „Rausch" driving schools
  
• Identity card or passport
  
• Eye test by optometrist or ophthalmologist
  
• Previous license (if you already have one)
  
• 43,40€ processing fee of license authority (as of 1.1.12)
  
• For all licenses except B17: a recent biometric passport photo
• Only for the first German driver's license: Proof of instruction in intermediate life support (valid indefinitely)

• Only for B17: Additional statement on license application
  
• Only for B17: Copy of driver's licenses and ID cards of all accompanying persons
  
• Only for B17: charge 11, -€ per registered accompanying person (as of 1.1.12)

• Only for description of a foreign license: Foreign driving license in the original (at the time the transfer must still be valid)
  
• Only for description of a foreign license: translation of the foreign license by the ADAC Munich, Ridlerstr.35, 80339 Munich
  
• Only for description of a foreign driving: Evidence for the duration of the possession of foreign driving license (not required if it is in the driver's license)
  
• Only for description of a foreign license: confirmation of the first application in Germany (not necessary if your first application was made in Munich, since you live here permanently
