All steps to a driving licence

Step 1

• Choose your driving licence class with our classes-finder

2rd step

• Decide on your price offer.

3rd step

• Choose between regular and intensive courses.

4th step

• Register online or in person at the location of your choice.

5th step

• Submit the application for a driving licence to the Munich district administration department or district office.
• The processing period is approx. 8 weeks. Only then will you receive the exam authorisation (exam order). 
• During the processing period, you can already start theory lessons and driving lessons.

6th step

• Book your driving lessons, plan your theory lessons and organise your driving licence training with your FAHREN LERNEN app.

7th step

• Prepare yourself for the exam with our theory training.
  Not necessary for class BE or ascent to class A2/A.

8th step

• Prepare yourself for the exam with our practical training.

9th step

• Once your exam authorisation (exam order) has been issued, we can request a theory exam for you at the TÜV Süd test centre.
• Depending on the availability of the TÜV Süd test centre, this can take up to 4 weeks.
• Pass your theory exam with success.
• Not necessary for class BE or ascent to class A2/A.

10th step

• Once you have successfully passed your theory exam, we can request a practical exam for you at the TÜV Süd test centre.
• Depending on the availability of the TÜV Süd test centre, they will confirm your exam.
• You may take the practical test at the earliest 2 weeks after the theory test.
• Pass your practical exam with success.
