With class B you may drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmission.
For larger trailers we also recommend the driver training class B with key number 96 (no exam) or class BE.

Modules before your first lesson

Basic manoeuvres and city traffic
In Training Lessons you practise the basic driving manoeuvres (parking, emergency braking, turning around) and driving in the city.
The number of Training Lessons is not fixed by the driving school training regulations and depends on your personal progress. How many Training Lessons you will need until you are ready for the exam cannot be predicted exactly at the start of your training.
Without previous experience, the average is about 16–19 Driving Appointments (90 minutes each). Experience shows it is only about 12–15 – provided you have completed all 5 modules on the driving simulator beforehand and followed the tips “Reduce the number of Training Lessons” under Practical training.
Depending on your progress, you may need fewer or more Training Lessons.
Country roads, motorway, dusk
In the 6 Driving Appointments (90 minutes each) of Special Lessons you practise driving outside the city. Special Lessons are also called legally required lessons.

Our BMW cars offer all available driver assistance systems*. You may also use them in your exam.
Professional maintenance and clean vehicles are a matter of course for us.

You hold class B and are thinking about getting class BE (large trailers) soon?
Then make sure you know the information on upgrading to class BE.
With all three you may drive cars up to 3,500 kg. With class B you train and take your exam in a manual car.
With B197 you train in an automatic car, take 5 additional Driving Appointments in a manual car and a short test drive – after that you may drive both. With B78 you may only drive automatic cars, which makes it the cheapest option.
This is not fixed by law and depends on your progress. Without prior experience, most of our learner drivers are ready for the exam after this many Driving Appointments of 90 minutes of Training Lessons:
With the modules on the driving simulator you save up to 4 Driving Appointments, based on experience. In addition there are 6 Driving Appointments of Special Lessons on country roads, the motorway and at dusk, which are required by law. The cost calculator shows your personal figure and price.
Yes, both. You decide whether to start with theory or driving lessons. You may also start driving while your application is still being processed.
Yes. Our training cars have all available assistance systems, for example adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, parking assist and a reversing camera. You may also use them in the exam.
With 1 to 3 Driving Appointments per week, class B training takes about 3 months on average. If you drive irregularly, it usually takes longer and often needs extra lessons. The time planner shows you when you can expect to have your licence.

Die Fahrschule (die Verwaltung und der Fahrlehrer) war mir bei der Umschreibung meines Führerscheins sehr behilflich! Ich habe meine Umschreibung bei der Rausch Fahrschule gemacht. Die Kommunikation sowie alle Abklärungen waren sehr effizient und schnell! Ich hab bei Rausch meinen Motorradführerschein gemacht und mich von der ersten Sekunde super aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Organisation meiner Unterlagen, die Prüfungsvorbereitung und die Reservierung der Fahrstunden lief super über die App Fahren lernen. Trotzdem war immer jemand telefonisch oder per mail zu erreichen. Nochmal vielen Dank an meinen Fahrlehrer, hat mir alles super erklärt und dafür gesorgt das selbst die Fahrstunden schon Spaß gemacht haben.

Ich kann die Fahrschule Rausch von Herzen empfehlen! Ich hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit. Ich hab mich super wohlgefühlt und wurde sehr gut auf die praktische Prüfung vorbereitet.
